We'll Win If Tinubu Picks Me As Running Mate- Okorocha.

Rochas Okorocha, the senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, declared on Sunday that if a Tinubu-Rocha ticket arises ahead of the 2023 presidential elections, he will clinch it.

Mr. Okorocha mentioned the prospect of running as a running partner for Bola Tinubu, the APC's national leader (APC). He claimed this was because he represents the South-East, whereas Mr. Tinubu is from the South-West.

"It's quite likely that Uncle Tinubu and I will be."

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said it’s Special National Convention/ Presidential primary will go ahead today (Saturday) as scheduled. The party said its attention had been drawn to speculations from “some strange quarters“ that it has postponed its 2022 National Convention holding today, Saturday, May 28, 2022.
