Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said that he is ready to take the seat of power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

Governor Wike said this on Sunday in Makurdi, Benue State during a meeting with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in the state.

2. Adeboye Reveals Why He Wanted To Resign

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has disclosed why he wanted to resign as the church’s General Overseer a few years ago.

Adeboye said he wanted to resign because he felt his members never cared that he was labouring in prayers and fasting for them.

4. Police Foil Attack By Suspected IPOB Members In Imo

Police in Imo State on Sunday foiled an attack by armed men suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/ Eastern Security Network (ESN).

In a statement by police spokesperson, CSP Michael Abattam, he said "the militia wing of the IPOB came in their numbers from the rear of the Obowo Division, which is an ungoverned forest, threw petrol bombs and Improvised Explosive Devices(IED) that fell on the transit camp and a vehicle".
