3 African Countries with slim chances of qualifying for the 2022 world cup

The First Leg of the World Cup Qualifiers for African Countries were played last week and from the results, some teams are already on the verge of not qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. The African Countries currently participating in the World Cup qualifiers are Mali, Tunisia, Congo, Morocco, Cameroon, Algeria, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and Egypt.

The 3 African Countries That Might not Qualify For The World Cup

1. Mali

In the first leg of the World Cup Qualifiers between Mali and Tunisia, Mali lost 1:0. It will be difficult for Mali to qualify for the World Cup because they lost the first leg in their Country. For them to to qualify, they will have to beat Tunisia away from home and that is very unlikely.

2. Cameroon

For Cameroon to qualify for the World Cup, they will have to defeat Algeria away from home because they lost the first leg in their home.

3. Senegal

Senegal, the current AFCON Champions are also on the verge of not qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. They defeated Egypt in the AFCON Final. Egypt is looking forward to have a revenge on them by defeating them in the World Cup Qualifiers to prevent them from qualifying for the World Cup. In the First leg, Egypt defeated Senegal 1:0
