6 Mistakes You Should Avoid Making When Charging Your Smartphone
1. While your phone is charging, put it away and don't use it. Charging and playing video games have become typical practices among today's youth and adults, resulting in a small percentage of them falling into this group. Even while it may not be seen as a bad habit, it can harm your phone over time due to the excessive heating it generates.
2. Don't leave your phone plugged in overnight. Overnight phone charging is bad since some phones don't have the option to stop charging once they've reached full power. Overheating can also degrade the battery life of a phone if it is constantly being charged throughout the night.
3. Avoid charging your smartphone with a charger that has a limited voltage capability or a reduced power supply. The batteries in smartphones, computers, and power banks can be damaged by charging them with low currents. Continuous charging of your phone should not be done with this type of current, except in an emergency. Using a high-voltage source of light can allow your phone to charge more quickly and keep its battery life longer.
5. Keep the cover case off of your phone when charging it. Before charging your phone, be sure to take off the case. You should do this because if you don't, your phone's temperature may rise, and that could cause damage. Make sure there is adequate room for air to get into the smartphone while it is plugged in.
6. Avoid using earphones to listen to music while your phone is charging. Some people don't realize that charging your phone while listening to music through earphones can be risky. The high levels of radiation emitted by such a phone can harm the brain.
